Barbara L. Baldo is an experienced litigator with a focus on personal injury and family law, representing clients in both jury and non-jury trials, as well as arbitrations and mediations. Throughout her twenty-six-year career, she has continuously handled complex and sophisticated matters, successfully providing sound advice to her clients.
Barbara earned her bachelor’s degree from Grove City College in 1992 and her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 1997. She was a member of the Law Review and held the position of Associate Comment Editor. Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Jack Anthony Panella, then of the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas. In 2007, she was appointed by the Court to represent children in the dependency system within Northampton County, providing legal representation and guidance to children who have become involved in the legal system.
Barbara brings commitment and unsurpassed ethical integrity in the fields of Family Law and Personal Injury. She is admitted to practice law in the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States Federal Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania. Also, she has remained an active member of the Northampton County Bar Association since 1998.
Additionally, Barbara was asked to serve as the First Assistant Solicitor for the County of Northampton, beginning in 2023. She handles all manner of litigation on behalf of the County, further expanding her experience and skill set.
Barbara also serves as Chairwoman of the Hanover Township Zoning Hearing Board and is uniquely qualified to match zoning and land use clients with the right attorneys. Barbara is a longtime resident of the Lehigh Valley and prides herself on working and supporting her local community.
In 2022, Barbara received the Fair Share Pro Bono award from the Northampton County Bar Association. This honor is given in recognition of her work with North Penn Legal Services providing free legal representation to individuals who otherwise could not afford an attorney.
Currently, she and her family reside in Hanover Township. In her free time, she is an avid yoga enthusiast and loves to experiment in the kitchen (her most recent quest is mastering the perfect pizza dough). Barbara has three college-age children and is mother to two very naughty rescue kittens.
