Alexis Berg-Townsend Raises $65,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2021 Man & Woman of the Year Campaign
In March, Partner Alexis Berg-Townsend was nominated as a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2021 Man & Woman of the Year – Lehigh Valley Market.
The title is given to the person who raises the most money in support of ending blood cancer. During Alexis’s 10-week fundraising campaign, she and her team “Alexis’s Army” were able to raise funds through monetary donations, raffles, and fundraising events such as:
- Shoot for a Cure – a clay shooting event held at the Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays in Coplay, PA.
- Drink for a Cure – held at Lost Taven Brewing in Hellertown, PA.
- Dine for a Cure – held at Biaggio Pizzeria and Family Restuarant in Allentown, PA, and Chick-fil-A in Whitehall, PA.
- Concert for a Cure – featuring Craig Thatcher, Cliff Starkey, and Pentley Holmes at ArtsQuest in Bethlehem, PA.
With the incredible generosity of all those who donated, Alexis raised $65,000 — surpassing her personal goal by $15,000, which contributed to the nearly $700,000 raised in the Lehigh Valley alone.
Congratulations to Alexis and all the winners!
