Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Announces Alexis Berg-Townsend as Candidate for Woman Of The Year

The Lehigh Valley Market of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is pleased to announce that Alexis Berg-Townsend of Slatington has been nominated as a candidate for LLS’s 2021 Woman of the Year.

Candidates across the county will form powerful fundraising teams and compete in honor of two local children who are blood cancer survivors to raise the most funds for blood cancer research. Berg-Townsend, a Partner at Cohen, Feeley, Altemose and Rambo, is one of an elite group of community and business leaders who will compete for the titles of LLS’s Man & Woman of the Year. Competing for these titles is an honor surrounded with a great deal of fanfare, including a full-page ad in Forbes.

Berg-Townsend got involved with LLS because she understands the impact that Leukemia and Lymphoma has on not only the individual but also his/her family and the importance and need for a cure.

Berg-Townsend also represents a number of clients in Social Security Disability who face the battle of Leukemia and Lymphoma and wants to be able to further assist her clients in obtaining the benefits and care they need.

As a candidate, Berg-Townsend will raise funds for a world without blood cancers between March 29, 2021, and June 10, 2021, the man and woman candidates who raise the most funds during the 10-week campaign will be awarded the titles Lehigh Valley Market Man & Woman of the Year at a Grand Finale. The local winners are then entered into the competition for National Man & Woman of the Year titles.
