What are some protective measures I can take while riding a motorcycle in addition to wearing a helmet?

These are all things that motorcycle riders can wear that offer additional protection while riding a motorcycle.

Wear boots, at the very least, wear sneakers.

It kind of drives me crazy when I see these people out with tank top shorts, flip flops, riding down the road. They’re already exposed.

And if they’re not wearing protective gear, then they’re just exposing themselves to additional risks of harm should something happen.
